Cost: $15/class OR $40 for all 3 classes

Bring a yoga mat if you have one.
Please eat 2 or more hours before the classes if possible.


Maria Ballinas is a professional photographer and social psychologist. She has a community center called Comunidar in Chiapas, Mexico where she offers low-cost psychological therapy and body-work in the form of yoga to those in need. Maria has been practicing yoga and Buddhist meditation for the last 7 years. The Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga that she teaches focuses on the mind body connection and uses dynamic postures and Ujjãyi breathing.

Wear comfortable clothes. Bring your own cushion to sit on.


We'll begin doing a form of Zen meditation with two 25 minute sits interrupted by a walking meditation.
